The Verona High School Hall of Fame was established in 2004 to honor the rich tradition of Academics, Arts, and Athletics that has been a part of Verona High School's history. Each November, Hall of Fame Inductees are recognized and celebrated based on their contributions to Verona High School, the Verona community at-large and to their fellow alumni.
The Verona High School Alumni Association (VHSAA) accepts nominations for this prestigious tribute based upon an individual or group contribution to the high school, the community and/or one's fellow man. Nominations are open to former students, teachers/administrators, and/or groups (bands, teams, squads, etc). Nomination forms can be obtained at Verona High School or the Verona Community Center. In writing a nomination form, the nominator is chronicling Verona High School (VHS) history. The burden of responsibility falls on the person nominating to give the Verona High School Alumni Association the information needed to justify the candidate's induction. If the nominator's candidate is selected, the information he/she provides is also used in promotional materials for years to come.
VHSAA Hall of Fame Committee accepts nominations all throughout the calendar year for the VHS Hall of Fame. The submission deadline for every year is June 1st for candidates you wish to be inducted in that calendar year.
All Hall of Fame candidates must be nominated by a second party in order to receive consideration.

Hall of Fame recipients include alumni and Verona High School Administrators who have made outstanding contributions based on the following criteria:
- Have brought special recognition to themselves and/or to Verona High School because of successful endeavors;
- Nominees may be living or deceased.
- The Nominee must not have brought public dishonor upon Verona High School;
- Have demonstrated high qualities of character and leadership during attendance and following graduation from Verona High School; and
- May not be considered for nomination until at least five (5) years following their graduation from Verona High School.
Personnel:
Be an individual (i.e. teacher, principal, coach, advisor, and/or staff) who through personal endeavor, leadership, and sacrifice over a period of years, has made an extraordinary contribution to the success of Verona High School. (The selection committee has the latitude to make exceptions to the above mentioned criteria.)
